Aeolus Would Be Proud: Wind Map Displays Flow Of Air In Real Time

Leave it to Google to make a map of something...with style. This thing is awesome. If you're looking to fly a kite, locate a tornado, or simply spread someone's ashes, check out the Wind Map first. This is a live map indicating the direction and speed of winds across the country. The image is okay, but in the actual map all of the lines are moving; making it clear how the air is behaving. To generate the map, they simply suck information from the National Weather Service's database on wind direction and intensity and then put it all together in flowing display of awesomeness. Now when you need to take a leak, you won't do it into the wind anymore
